We are growing our team of carers in Tauranga! To support the number of new clients requiring overnights cares across the region, we are looking for caregivers who are experienced and available immediately for sleepovers and awake nights. Someone who has experience with Dementia and a soft, calming presence will work well in the shifts we have available. Your support through the night will ensure our client gets the support and care they need to safely and comfortably remain living in their own home. We can offer you flexibility around the nights so you can continue to do the things that are important to you also.
We require our caregivers to hold a full, current driver license and have experience with personal cares. We provide an afterhours service 7 days per week, so if you are working on a weekend, you still have the support of a dedicated coordinator to provide you assistance if required.
We would love to hear from you if you have had experience with the following:
- Companionship and home-help, which may include light house work
- Meal preparation
- Personal Cares; to include showering, dressing, grooming
- Dementia care
- Palliative care
Ideal Candidate must have:
- Recent care giving/healthcare preferred
- A clean full NZ Driver's Licence and your own car
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work legally in New Zealand (You must have already obtained a working visa)
- A clear background and criminal check
