Position Type: Permanent, full time

Remuneration: $70,000 - $87,211 (Fixed remuneration excluding Kiwisaver)

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the STP Level 2 and Level 3 Automotive programmes, teaching both in the classroom and within our specialised training and commercial workshop environments. You will facilitate engaging and practical learning experiences for our students (ākonga), ensuring they gain the skills and confidence needed to succeed. Travel will be required to deliver training in Tokoroa, with travel to other sites as needed to support programme delivery.

The role involves tutoring ākonga, review and update of resources and classroom materials, setting and marking assessments and results entry. You will also be responsible for assisting with the recruitment and care of ākonga and actively participating in the team and faculty environment.

Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver      STP Level 2 and Level 3 Automotive programmes
  • Provide      leadership in ākonga management
  • Develop,      plan and implement ākonga assessment, courses and resource material
  • Monitor      ākonga progress and results and provide timely and accurate advice and      support as required

· Complete planning and timetabling for the Programme as well as assisting with recruitment

You bring:

• Qualified Automotive Engineer

• Minimum five years post graduate industry experience

• Adult Teaching Qualification (whilst desirable, professional development will be provided)

• Passion for educating the next generation of Automotive Engineers

• Ability to fit into a high-performance team
