Automotive Technician
About our role
We are looking for an Automotive Technician who will work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at our workshop in Taupo. As an automotive technician, you are, above all, responsible for performing all kinds of service operations (inspections), defined assembly operations, and maintenance repairs to customer and company vehicles with the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that all servicing and repairs follow specifications and standards supplied by Ingham and its business partners.
- Support and contribute to the effective operation of the Parts, and Service Departments.
- Utilise skills and knowledge to diagnose problems with a range of vehicles
- Engine and transmission overhauling
- Electrical fault finding and repairs.
- High-performance Braking system upgrades and maintenance.
Skills & Experience
- A current clean full Driver's Licence.
- 3+ years’ experience as a qualified automotive technician.
- Experience in fault/diagnostic findings.
- Friendly communicator with good English language skills and a high level of personal integrity.
