Automotive Technician
About our role
This Technician position will see you work at our newly established and admired workshop in Hamilton, where we specialise in vehicles out of warranty of all makes and models. We are a one-stop automotive centre with the latest equipment for tyres and alignments, windscreen replacement, mechanical repairs, and warrant of fitness.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that all servicing and repairs follow specifications and standards
- Support and contribute to the effective operations of the workshop
- Utilise skills and knowledge to diagnose problems with a range of vehicles
- Carry out WOF Inspections on a range of vehicle brands
- Perform fault diagnostic testing and carry out necessary repairs
Skills & Experience
- WOF Certification or eligible to be trained.
- Minimum level 4 NZQA New Zealand National Certificate in Automotive Electrical and Mechanical Engineering certified or relevant International Automotive Trade Qualifications
- A current clean full NZ Driver's Licence
- Currently living in New Zealand and/or hold a valid work visa (if applicable)
- Friendly communicator with good English language skills and a high level of personal integrity
