We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Manager - Customer Data and Insights in our Digital and Customer Experience team. This role is perfect for someone looking to advance their career with a global leader in the automotive industry.

The purpose of this role is to manage and analyse customer data to deliver insights that inform strategic decisions and improve customer engagement. By leveraging technology and accurate data opportunities, it supports marketing, customer service, sales and retention strategies, all aimed at delivering an exceptional customer experience.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about streamlining processes and creating efficiencies to support capability growth within our systems and teams.

This opportunity is permanent/full-time based on-site Monday – Friday at our Head Office in Palmerston North.

What’s involved in the role:

  • Drive strategic decisions and enhance customer engagement through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.
  • Manage and analyse customer data to provide actionable insights and improve customer retention.
  • Develop and maintain customer data management systems, including Salesforce and CRM and digital platforms as required.
  • Lead and mentor a team of customer experience data driven professionals.
  • Lead projects to improve customer data quality and integration, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Report on customer insights and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Building capability within teams and systems.

About you: 

To be successful in the role of Associate Manager - Customer Data and Insights, you will need to have a strong background in customer data analysis and insights, with a focus on enhancing customer retention and experience. You should be adept at leveraging data to inform strategies and improve customer interactions.

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams 
  • Proven ability at developing and implement strategic projects 
  • Highly developed skills in reporting, analysing, and providing insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication 
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry (beneficial)
