One of our team is moving on to a new role within Toyota New Zealand and as such a rare opportunity now exists to join one of New Zealand’s most well respected and trusted companies in their Parts and Accessories department.  

Your primary responsibility in this role will be to drive success by managing and analysing data sets and providing support to the team to ensure they are equipped to conduct their role to its highest standard. Alongside this you will drive project work and further develop parts and accessories reporting which is designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s operations. 

We are looking for someone that has a real passion for developing strong, empowered teams and for improving efficiencies through effective analysis and reporting. This role offers loads of variety and you will need to be the type of person that thrives in an environment that focuses on continuous improvement.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is not required for this role.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular team meetings
  • Guiding and coaching team members 
  • Preparing project proposals and managing the project through to signoff
  • Managing existing reporting and developing new reporting
  • Continuously analysing data to identify inefficiencies and developing new processes to support team KPIs
  • Maintaining active communication and strong relationships with local suppliers

We pride ourselves on our people so to be successful in the role you will need: 

  • Proven experience in managing a team 
  • The ability to analyse reports and identify improvements
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • High levels of communication and strong relationship building skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
