Right next door, The Foundry Restaurant brings southern hospitality with relaxed dining. Open seven days a week and seating up to 75 guests, The Foundry serves comforting, crowd-pleasing dishes perfect for casual meals and special catch-ups. We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team, supporting the Manager in overseeing and delivering efficient and profitable bar and restaurant operations, all while ensuring exceptional service for both Waikiwi Tavern and Foundry Restaurant. Tasks will include, but not limited to the following:
- Team supervision and management
- Stock control
- Class 4 gaming compliance and management
- Complaints resolution
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation
- Roster management
- Mentor and train staff to excel in their roles
Skills required:
- Current General managers certificate
- 2-3 years relevant experience
- Understanding of POS stock control systems and cash management
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
- Passion for excellent customer service
- Exceptional standards
