Assistant Groundsperson

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Groundsperson to assist our Dunedin team during our busy seasonal periods.  

This is a seasonal fixed-term role to the end of April, 2021 this year (with the potential to make the role permanent), working a minimum of 40 hours per week over that period. 

Our ideal candidates will have the following skills and attributes:

•  Any qualification in Sports Turf Management is desirable but not necessary as full training will be given.
• Some Knowledge of grass and turf requirements such as fertilization, mowing, irrigation, weed spraying, renovation practices and presentation would be desirable
• Positive attitude;
• Takes pride in their work and be totally committed to satisfying customer requirements;
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of duties;
• Strong adherence to health and safety procedures;
• Works well in a team and unsupervised.
