Working closely on the floor and staying hands-on, you’ll partner with the FOH team as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager  to help deliver exceptional hospitality across our venues.As part of this role, you'll also have the opportunity to further develop your leadership skills by stepping into the Food & Beverage Manager position during a six-month period of parental leave in 2027. 

About the Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day leadership and administration of the department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Experienced in rostering, budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and purchasing.
  • Leading by example and maintaining exceptional service standards
  • Supporting operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, liquor licensing requirements and food safety standards

You'll work closely with the CEO, Gaming Managers, Marketing team, and the wider Food & Beverage team to ensure every guest receives a memorable experience.

About You

You're an experienced hospitality leader who enjoys developing people, improving operations and delivering exceptional customer service. You remain calm under pressure, lead from the front and are committed to creating a positive team culture.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Food Safety certification (preferred) and a current General Manager's Certificate (agree to obtain one within agreed timeframe)
  • A willingness to work alongside your team on the floor.

Indicative hours

  • Weekdays: Predominantly 11am–7.00pm, with occasional 9.00am–5.00pm shifts
  • Weekends: 1.00pm–9.30pm (Rotating weekends off)

The roster includes rotating weekends off. Hours may vary during peak trading periods, special events and functions, including over Christmas and New Year.

This is a full-time position. $75,000-$80,000
