Assistant Coach Operations Manager (2IC)
We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as Coach Operations 2IC, supporting the Coach Operations Manager and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our Queenstown coach division. This is an exciting time as we continue to invest in new coaches and products.
What you’ll be doing
- Assist with the daily running of coach operations and support the Coach Operations Manager to provide seven-day-a-week operational management cover.
- Support and help train drivers to deliver exceptional service and safe driving practices.
- Manage rosters and handle last-minute operational changes as required.
- Liaise closely with reservations, drivers and other departments to ensure seamless service and outstanding customer experience.
- Respond to operational challenges and emergencies with senior management support.
- This job will require on-call and weekend work as well as Public Holidays, as we are a 365-day operation
- Assist with daily administrative tasks.
- Assist with business development projects
What we’re looking for
- Class 4 licence preferred (Class 2 minimum) and P Endorsement.
- New Zealand coach driving experience
- Background in tourism and customer service
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Health & Safety obligations
- Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet, calm under pressure
- Great relationship-building and management skills
- Competent in the use of IT systems
