Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi | About the Role

This permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week), role is based at our Windemere Campus Tauranga. This role is both stimulating and multi-dimensional as the successful applicant will tutor on our Automotive Engineering Programmes as well as be responsible for coordinating and supporting our apprentices in the Tauranga area.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $73,000 up to $76,000, dependent on skills and experience.

The Apprentice Coordinator is based at our Windermere Campus, Toi Ohomai | Te Pūkenga reporting to the Academic Lead and will be responsible for: 

· Delivering automotive engineering programmes

· Providing leadership in student (ākonga) | apprentice management

· Developing, planning am implementing student (ākonga) \ apprentice assessment, courses and resource materials

· Monitoring ākonga | apprentice progress results and provide timely and accurate advice and support as required

· Complete planning and timetabling for the Programme as well as assisting with recruitment

· Developing and delivering processes that effectively support our ākonga | apprentices

To be successful in this role you will have:

· Qualified Automotive Engineer

· Minimum five years post graduate industry experience

· Adult Teaching qualification (whilst desirable, professional development will be provided)

· Passion for educating and supporting the next generation of Automotive Engineers

· Proven ability to develop and deliver effective partnerships with key stakeholders
