At TRC Toyota in Whanganui, we have  a 'grow service' strategy in place which is great news for you! A position is available for an apprentice automotive technician to join our service team.

What skills would you need to have?

• Have a genuine interest in the motor industry and vehicles, and perhaps even some experience in this industry
• Like working and being part of a team environment
• Have a keen desire to learn, develop and keep up with the workload - both theory and practical
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Hold a clean driver's license
• Have a desire to always achieve a high standard of customer service.
• Have a positive attitude,  lots of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
• A solid work ethic 
• A pre-apprenticeship course would be looked upon favourably

The role of apprentice is interesting and varied and requires you to be able to learn and retain information.
