As New Zealand’s leading foodservice distributor, Bidfood is all about innovation, quality, and service. We’re looking for a motivated Liquor Specialist to drive growth and expand our presence across the liquor market — from restaurants and bars to hotels and retail outlets.

You’ll be the go-to expert for all things liquor — inspiring customers with fresh ideas, expanding our product offering, and supporting our account managers with your industry knowledge.

While your main focus will be liquor sales, there’s also a food sales element to the role, giving you the opportunity to work across both sides of the business and bring the full Bidfood experience to your customers 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving sales growth and increasing market share within the liquor category
  • Building strong, lasting relationships with key accounts — bars, restaurants, and retail outlets
  • Identifying new business opportunities and hunting out growth prospects
  • Promoting our liquor range and improving placement across customer accounts
  • Sharing insights on trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity
  • Supporting and influencing account managers to execute our liquor sales strategy
  • Hitting monthly sales targets and maintaining great customer service standards

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated successful sales experience 
  • Proven knowledge of the food/Liquor industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full drivers licence
