We’re searching for a motivated and skilled Advanced Practitioner (addictions focused) to join our vibrant, multidisciplinary team at our Family Centre in New Windsor, West Auckland. This is a permanent, full-time role with real purpose and the chance to make a lasting impact.

Set on six acres of peaceful, park-like grounds, the Family Centre provides a unique residential environment where parents can work on their recovery in a place of hope and growth while living together with their children.

The days of work for this role are Monday and Friday working the following shifts:

Monday 1.00pm – 9.00pm
Tuesday 7.45am – 3.45pm
Wednesday 7.45am – 3.45pm
Thursday 7.45am – 3.45pm
Friday 7.45am – 3.45pm

The Advanced Practitioner within this service will provide guidance and support in regard to the making of clinical decisions and take on a coaching / mentoring role with team members. This role will also involve a rostered on-call responsibility. 

We are seeking candidates who ideally have:

  • A relevant addictions, social or health related degree qualification
  • Registration with DAPAANZ as a competent alcohol and other drug practitioner, or the ability to become registered in a reasonable timeframe. 
  • Strong previous practical experience working in the addictions field
  • A willingness to embrace the Therapeutic Community (TC) method of treatment
  • Willing to work rostered shifts including one weekend day
  • A sense of humour and a flexible 'can do' approach
  • A full NZ driver’s license
