Are you an experienced Clinician wanting better resourcing and more creative interventions?
We are now looking for a registered Clinician with health sector/addictions experience to take on the Advanced Practitioner role for a brand-new service in partnership with CADS that aims to provide continuing care for tāngata whai ora and their whānau under the (Substance Addiction - Compulsory Assessment and Treatment (SACAT) Act.
Based at our New Lynn community hub Te Tāwharau; this community-based pilot covers the whole Auckland region from Wellsford down to Port Waikato. The service is mobile with access to a flexi-fund, ensuring we are adequately resourced to provide agile, creative and responsive support.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that supports whai ora with addiction (alcohol & drug) and co-existing physical and mental health challenges on their recovery journey. The service hours are 10am – 6pm, with some flexibility required to be responsive to tangata whai ora and their whānau.
