Admissions and Enrolments Administrator

Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for customer service, data accuracy and supporting ākonga success?

We are seeking an Admissions and Enrolments Administrator to join our Ākonga Services and Administration team. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality admissions and enrolment services for domestic and international ākonga, ensuring applications and enrolments are processed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the Role

Reporting to the Admissions and Enrolments Team Leader, you will coordinate the end-to-end admissions and enrolment lifecycle while providing exceptional service to ākonga, agents, academic staff and other stakeholders. You will help ensure the integrity of student information systems and support organisational reporting requirements.

Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international admissions and enrolment processes from enquiry through to enrolment.
  • Provide expert advice and support to prospective and current ākonga, agents and staff.
  • Maintain accurate student records within the Student Management System.
  • Support tuition fee and refund administration.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to reporting requirements for agencies including TEC, MOE and StudyLink.
  • Collaborate with academic and support teams to resolve enrolment-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

He kōrero mōu | About You

  • A tertiary qualification in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in admissions, enrolment administration or a similar customer-focused administrative role.
  • Experience working with databases or student management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the ability to support culturally responsive practices in the workplace.
  • Ability to support and advocate the use of te reo Māori, tikanga and mātauranga Māori in the workplace.
