About the role

An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Assurance Administrator to join our Operations team, based in Tauranga. This is 12-month fixed term position, the hours of work are 4 hours per day (approximately ‘half time’), Monday to Friday. The hours must be completed between 8:30am – 5:00pm, however the specific hours per day are able to be set in discussion with you (to be discussed during interview process).

Our Operations Assurance team is an integral part of Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) operations team, our clients being all CIP branches and affiliates. The Operations Assurance Administrator is responsible for reviewing client data, closing accounts, and preparing data for Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) reporting.

This is a critical role in ensuring our Client accounts meet CIP’s best practice standards and licence obligations, including mitigating any non-regulatory risks such as fraud and errors and generally ensuring that CIP is meeting consistent compliance standards across the business. This is a great role if you are looking to further your financial services administration experience. In return, you will be working in a supportive team environment with exposure to the investment industry.

About you

You will have experience in another administrative position, ideally within financial services or risk and compliance sectors. This role works to daily tasks so the ability to prioritise workload effectively is essential. Strong computer literacy skills are essential, and experience working within a CRM program would be advantageous. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate in a professional manner 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 
  • Self-starter with the ability to show initiative
