About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a Client Onboarding Administrator to join our Onboarding team in Tauranga. This is a fixed term position for 6 months (due to an internal secondment) with full time hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Our Onboarding team is an integral part of Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) operations team, our clients being all CIP branches and affiliates. The Client Onboarding Administrator is responsible for ensuring client accounts are opened within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes and maintained in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements and in line with Craigs Investment Partners (CIP) procedures and policies. 

The position requires strong organisational, administration, and communication skills, as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The role is also required to:

  • Review completed Client Agreements and supporting documentation,
  • Input data from the Client Agreement into the Client Record Management (CRM) system,
  • Communicate any omissions, errors, or clarification requirements,
  • Submit new accounts to the Operations Assurance team for approval,
  • Open and close CIP Cash Management accounts on behalf of new and existing CIP clients,
  • Other tasks as required by your Manager

About you

We are looking for candidates with relevant finance or business administration qualifications, or equivalent financial services work experience. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external clients 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Self-starter with the ability to show initiative
