We are now looking for an organised, efficient, and enthusiastic Administrator to join the Youth INtact team at our service based in central Hamilton. 

This non-clinical, permanent part-time (30 hours per week) position operates Monday to Friday (8.30am to 3.00pm) providing administrative, organisational and functional support to colleagues and clients connected to the Youth INtact service. 

Youth INtact is a community-based youth alcohol and other drugs (AOD) service based in Hamilton. Delivered by Odyssey, an AOD treatment provider, it provides an innovative approach to service delivery for rangatahi/young people with problematic to severe alcohol and/or other drug use – offering easily accessible community-based assessment and treatment services that are wraparound, holistic and culturally responsive. 

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Be a strong communicator - balancing discretion and sensitivity with a good sense of humour
  • Have experience in administration with exceptional computer, word-processing and keyboard skills
  • Be able to manage your time and work under pressure to meet deadlines 
  • Be able to work unsupervised as part of a team
  • Have the ability to evaluate information thoroughly, with a high attention to detail
  • Have either experience or interest in working alongside clients within the health and addictions field
  • Have a full NZ driver’s licence
