First impressions count and that’s what we are looking for in this role.

This is a part time job share position working 13 hours per week.  Your hours of work will be one full day and one half day.  Actual days of work will be negotiated with successful applicant.   

You will be supporting the management and staff at St Andrews, including promoting good public relations through efficient reception service.  

The ideal person will have experience in:

  • Frontline reception services
  • Providing administrative support to a busy team
  • Good communication and telephone skills

Every day is different so we need someone who will demonstrate:

  • Exceptional computer, technical and spreadsheet skills
  • The ability to be innovative, prioritise and have good time management skills. 
  • A friendly but professional telephone manner
  • Empathy for older people

Presbyterian Support Otago is a long established, widely respected provider of health and social services for people in Otago. Our St Andrews Home and Hospital has room for up to 78 residents, 26 at dementia and 52 at hospital level care. We employ in excess of 700 and are supported by over 500 volunteers. We’re central to the communities in which we provide services and your role is central to all we do.
