Southern Cross Wellington Hospital is a private surgical hospital and integrated, purpose-built specialist consulting centre. The hospital features day procedure facilities, five operating theatres, diagnostic technologies, and a modern intensive care unit – all of which allows the hospital to provide for the needs of a variety of patients, including those at higher-risk, given the increasing number of complex elective surgical procedures now performed in the private sector.
First established in 1992, the hospital has seen significant additions and upgrades on the site over recent years. Further expansion is currently underway to add much-needed surgical capacity to the Wellington region and expand the core hospital services to also include a broader range of healthcare services.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
The purpose of this role is to be a professional and customer focused back office administrator, responsible for administrative tasks such as handling patient information and liaising with patients, colleagues and doctors in our specialist centre.
This may also include front desk sickness and holiday cover which involves customer focused face to face and telephone first point of contact, administrative tasks including reception, booking appointments, revenue processing and organising visitors.
This is a full time, 1 FTE role.
