As the Administration and Accounts Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and finance functions. This position provides essential administrative, accounts payable/receivable, wages and general financial support across the group. You will be a central point of contact for employees, suppliers, helping maintain a well‑organised and efficient workplace.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a complex and diverse group of businesses, giving you exposure to multiple operations, systems, and stakeholders while contributing to meaningful improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and on time, ensuring correct approvals and coding
  • Complete creditor reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and prepare weekly/monthly payment runs
  • Generate customer invoices, receipt payments, prepare debtor reports, and support credit control activities
  • Process payroll, maintain employee records, and assist with IRD requirements
  • Assist with financial reporting, reconciliations, workpapers, and bank recs across multiple entities
  • Provide general administration support including data entry, document preparation, and filing

You will bring:

  • Experience processing invoices, reconciliations, or financial data
  • Payroll processing experience and knowledge of NZ payroll, financial, or employment compliance
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence learning new systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail

It would be great (but not essential) if you also have:

  • A qualification in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with Greentree, Datapay, Humanforce or similar ERP systems
  • Experience in  manufacturing, logistics, forestry, or trade‑based industries
