Activities Operator
About the role:
As an Activities Operator, you'll work across both our Stargazing and Luge operations, helping deliver exceptional experiences for our guests at Skyline Queenstown. A key part of this role involves delivering engaging Mandarin-language stargazing experiences, sharing knowledge of the night sky and creating memorable moments under the stars.
You'll also support the safe and efficient operation of our world-famous Luge, ensuring guests enjoy an outstanding experience while maintaining Skyline's high standards of safety and service.
This is a varied, guest-focused role that combines customer service, guiding, storytelling, and attraction operations. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of our activities team.
The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
The ideal candidate will have:
- fluency in Mandarin and English - this is required, as the position involves regularly delivering guided stargazing experiences and providing commentary and information, including safety information, to Mandarin and English-speaking guests;
- excellent communication skills
- a minimum of 2 years' customer service experience;
- a positive, energetic attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- the ability to multi-task and the confidence to use your initiative,
- attention to detail and the ability to strictly follow procedures and processes.
This Role Offers:
- $27.50 - $29.00 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week;
