Heritage Lifecare has a rewarding opportunity available for an Activities Coordinator on a permanent full-time basis to join our dedicated team at Ellerslie Gardens in the suburb of Mt Wellington, Auckland

  • Permanent full-time | 32 hours per week  
  • AM, PM and Weekend shifts
  • $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

As an Activities Coordinator you will be involved in the delivery of activity programs that meet residents' individual physical, spiritual, cultural, cognitive, and emotional needs. This will include the planning, organizing and delivery of activities, outings, events, and involvement in community groups. This is a truly rewarding opportunity that brings a difference into the lives of others.

  • A great team spirit with empathy and drive to make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate with residents, their families and your team members.
  • Be familiar with computers and have the ability to learn new systems.
  • The ability to work within a multiskilled team and also independently.
  • Full NZ driver's license, and confidence in driving a van.
  • Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
