We are seeking a highly capable and student-focused Academic Learning Advisor to join our Library and Learning Services team on a two-month fixed-term, part-time basis (0.5 FTE). This role is based in our Tāmaki Campus (Queen Street, CBD). This role exists to provide evidence-based academic learning support, advice, and guidance to ākonga across all levels and disciplines. You will work with individual students, small groups, and within online environments to enhance academic confidence, competence, and independence, supporting retention and achievement.
The appointing salary will range from $89,638 to $100,915 FTE depending on skills and experience.
The Academic Learning Advisor plays a key role in fostering a holistic, joined-up approach to learner success, working alongside academic staff and student support services to ensure ākonga receive timely, appropriate, and effective support. Key areas of focus include:
