Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity for someone looking to build their finance career while gaining experience within one of New Zealand's largest healthcare organisations.

As our Accounts Support (AP/AR) team member, you'll play an important role in supporting a transformation project and ensuring the smooth operation of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Working closely with Finance and project stakeholders, you'll assist with a range of activities including the testing of invoice processing, supplier management, payment runs. Supporting with reconciliations, data validation, credit applications, and the transfer of financial information across systems ensuring appropriate cut off procedures are performed

This role offers excellent development opportunities for someone with accounts payable, accounts receivable or administration experience who enjoys working with numbers, systems and processes. You'll gain exposure to finance systems, business transformation activities and large-scale data transition work, while building your skills within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience

  • Experience in an Accounts Payable, Finance Administration, or similar finance support role 
  • Experience processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting payment activities 
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with financial information 
  • Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills when dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders 
  • A proactive and team-oriented approach, with a willingness to support wider finance activities when required 
  • Experience with TechnologyOne or a similar ERP system would be highly regarded.
