 Join a Finance Team That Makes a Difference

We're looking for a Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance Team in Palmerston North and help ensure our day-to-day financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Hours - This role is 80 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday between hours of 8am - 5pm to be confirmed with right applicant. 


About the Role

This is a hands-on finance role with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, supported by Accounts Receivable, reconciliations and general finance administration activities.

Working closely with the Finance Systems Lead and wider finance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time
  • Maintaining creditor and debtor records
  • Raising invoices and processing receipts
  • Completing bank and general ledger reconciliations
  • Responding to supplier, customer and staff enquiries
  • Supporting month-end finance processes
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of finance systems and processes

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transactional finance, takes pride in accuracy and customer service, and likes being part of a collaborative team.


About You

You may already be working in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration or a similar finance support role.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or finance administration
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A customer-focused approach and excellent communication skills
  • Experience using finance systems and Microsoft Excel
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Experience with Workday or other ERP systems would be an advantage but is not essential.
