Accounts Officer
We are on the lookout for a self-motivated, positive, and energetic Accounts Officer.

This position is based in Palmerston North however you will be working alongside our four other branches situated in Feilding, Levin, Whanganui, and Masterton.
About the role
We need a new Accounts Officer who is super organised, can communicate positively with our stakeholders and can remain a cool, calm, and collected team player when the busy times hit.
Working closely with the CFO and Business Support Team, the key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Accounts Receivable
- Customer account reconciliations, raise accurate invoices, send out monthly customer statements, and day to day communication with customers with invoice queries.
- Credit Control – you will be responsible for monitoring and following up overdue debtors.
- Setting up new customer accounts
Accounts Payable
- Processing of accounts payable invoices, data entry and coding.
- Ensure all invoicing for month end is completed.
- Attending to creditor queries.
- Receipting and reconciliation of TNZ warranty and extra care payments.
- Reconciliation of creditor statements.
- Organise invoices for payment electronically on the 20th of the month.
- Providing support and cover for the other Business Support team members.
What we require
- Accurate data entry skills with the ability to handle a high volume of transactions.
- Well-developed written and spoken communicational skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience is preferred however most importantly we’re looking for an outstanding personality to join our team and so we’re willing to train the right person for the job.
