The Role

We are looking for an Account Assistant to provide essential support to our finance team.

This role is a fixed term opportunity to 20 Dec 2024 working 20 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays (with flexible on daily start and end times) to assist the wider team.  This is an onsite role in our Remuera, Auckland office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Accounts Payable including Supplier Statement reconciliations and invoice coding.
  • Patient Liaison support including patient statement queries.
  • General support for our Senior Accountant, Financial Controller, and CFO.

 Ideal Candidate, Skills and Experience 

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Quick to learn and effectively complete tasks
  • Able and comfortable responding to telephone queries and other requests calmly and efficiently
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly numerate
  • A team player who is happy to take on new tasks to support this busy team
  • Sound computer skills are essential 
  • Administration experience is preferred 
  • General finance experience is preferred but not required.  Training will be provided.
