ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the debtor's ledger including following up on the overdue accounts, timely allocation of payment, warranty and rebate claims, assisting with period end close and building good relationships with the wider business.  This is a permanent part-time (32 hours) role within the Finance Team.

Your key areas of responsibility and accountability will be:

  • Managing customer accounts including warranty and service accounts and collection of outstanding and aged debtors
  • Processing of credit account applications and setting them up in the accounting system
  • Responding to all accounts queries promptly
  • Maintaining system price tables for contracts, promotions, and discounts ensuring customers are invoiced correctly
  • Period processing for financial reporting including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Receipting of payment allocation including processing of direct debit
  • Assist in year-end audits.

TO SUCCEED YOU WILL NEED:

  • Completion of a relevant Diploma
  • Two to three years’ experience in credit control/accounts receivable roles
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and driven to meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of the use of ERP System
  • A co-operative and collaborative approach to working with peers and other business areas
  • A continuous improvement mindset
