About the Role

We’re seeking an Accounts Administrator to work approximately 32 hours a week. 

Reporting to the Directors, this role will see you take ownership of our day-to-day financial operations.  You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and partnering with our external accountants to ensure smooth month-end processes.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Daily reconciliation and transaction processing in MYOB
  • Supplier invoice management and payment preparation
  • Preparing month-end journals and maintaining the general ledger
  • Preparing and filing GST returns
  • Preparing and processing payroll for up to 10 employees.
  • Maintaining short-term cashflow forecasts
  • Reconciling and processing accounting entries from legal settlement statements
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

What We’re Looking For:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting/Commerce (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in accounts administration or similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, reconciliations and GST compliance
  • Experience using accounting systems (e.g. MYOB).
  • High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear communication and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
  • Experience in property or land development would be beneficial, but is not essential
