Accountant - Manufacturing and Retail Business
The accountant is expected to manage the office tasks, that are completed by a full-time assistant. This position requires the successful applicant can manage staff and company policies and procedures. A current manual is available, but needs maintaining.
We are both a retail and manufacturing company that is entering a strong growth phase in the manufacturing.. Staff numbers are expected to grow to 80 over the next year, thus good systems and processes need to be put in place.
We utilise software from Australia (AP21), that provides all the stock management and accounting information. Being familiar with the accounting systems of AP21 will be useful, but not essential.
The use of excel and preparing budgets is essential, including P and L, cash-flow, and balance sheets.
We can provide flexibility in working hours, for the right applicant.
Accuracy, timeliness, and a pleasant personality are essential.
Hours have some flexibility but would rather have someone here daily up to 4 hours each day, or 20hours over 3 days or more

Skills & Experience
Qualified Accountant
Experience in managing accounting for a manufacturing business is preferred but no essential
Diligent adherence to detail and deadlines
