About the job:
Radius care is currently seeking out an Exceptional Person to join the Finance team. Radius provides rest home and hospital level support to our residents across 23 facilities throughout New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced Account Manager Receivables to join our team of 4 experience staff to support with managing accounts receivable sub ledgers.
Key tasks for this role include:
- Developing relationships with key internal and external parties, particularly facility management and residents and their families.
- Ensuring that billing is accurate and the collection of monies is followed up on a timely basis.
- Completing accounts receivables responsibilities for allocated rest homes/hospitals
- Ensure the prompt processing of payments from the Ministry of Health and WINZ.
- Credit control on outstanding amounts for private residents
- Prompt reconciliations of accounts on discharge
- Act quickly to find solutions particularly around funding queries
What we are looking for:
- Someone who has at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience in a high-volume credit management position
- Someone who displays compassion and empathy when dealing with residents’ families
- The ability to work with multiple and complex external contracts
- Someone who can pick up new systems very quickly
