We are seeking two dynamic Lecturers to teach Networking courses from Undergraduate to Postgraduate Masters levels. You will cover key areas such as Network Security, Cloud Networking, and Infrastructure Management, guiding students through advanced networking concepts and preparing them for successful IT careers. Your responsibilities will include hands-on labs, network protocols, architecture design, and student mentorship. You will also actively engage with industry tools like Cisco, AWS, Azure, and VMware, ensuring the curriculum remains aligned with current industry trends and standards.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $79,000.00 and $90,000.00, dependent on skills and experience.
The Academic IT Network Lecturer is based in our Center for Information Technology| Te Pūkenga reporting to the Dr Blaine H. Rakena and will be responsible for:
Delivering engaging lectures and labs: Design and present high-quality lectures and practical sessions, creating course materials and assessing student performance.

Candidates must meet specific educational and certification requirements:
o Cisco CCNA Certified Instructor (CCNA 1-3).
o CompTIA A+ Instructor certification.
o Cisco Security Instructor certification (highly preferred).
o AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
o Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
o VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV).
Candidates with additional instructor certifications will be favoured, showcasing a commitment to professional development and enhancing the ability to deliver high-quality education.
