We are seeking an experienced academic staff member to oversee the delivery of the Master of Applied Science programme. This role involves providing leadership in student management, supervising theses, and ensuring academic excellence through robust planning, assessment, and compliance processes. You will play a key role in shaping the success of our postgraduate learners and supporting the growth of the programme.
Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities
• Deliver the Master of Applied Science programme, including thesis supervision.
• Provide leadership in student management and engagement.
• Develop, plan, and implement student assessments, courses, and resource materials.
• Monitor student progress and results, offering timely and accurate advice and support.
• Plan and manage timetabling for the programme and assist with student recruitment.
• Ensure academic compliance requirements are met, including moderation, PSAR contributions, and course outcome reporting.

You will be an experienced academic with strong leadership skills and a passion for student success.
You bring:
• A postgraduate qualification in Applied Science or a related discipline (PhD preferred).
• Experience in thesis supervision and postgraduate teaching.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of academic compliance processes and quality assurance.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
