Remuneration: $65,286 - $87,211 (Fixed remuneration excluding Kiwisaver)

We have an exciting opportunity for an Academic Staff Member to teach the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 2). This role is based at our Mokoia campus in Rotorua and is ideal for someone passionate about foundation education and committed to supporting diverse learners.

Ngā mahi | Key Responsibilities

• Teach and support learners in literacy, numeracy, and digital skills 

• Create and update engaging learning resources 

• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback 

• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment 

• Actively contribute to team and institutional goals

He kōrero mōu | About You

You bring:

• Strong literacy, numeracy, and computer application skills 

• Passion for education and understanding of diverse learner needs 

• Teaching experience and/or formal teaching qualifications (preferred) 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to learner needs
(Training can be provided for the successful applicant)
