Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role 

The Academic Excellence team ensures Otago Polytechnic complies with internal and external quality and approvals requirements. As a key part of this team, the Academic Advisor contributes to a wide range of academic quality services, helping to maintain, apply and enhance quality processes that support the development of academic programmes. The role mainly involves supporting programme teams to prepare documentation for programme accreditation, approval, monitoring, moderation, consistency and review.

To be successful in this role you will:

· Current knowledge of tertiary education quality assurance systems and processes including the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework and Tertiary Quality Assurance Framework.

· Possess a good understanding of teaching and learning principles and practices, assessment and moderation processes and programme/instructional design 

· Have experience working in qualification and/or programme development and review

· Hold a degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
