2026 Seasonal Packhouse - Night shift
We invite you to apply for our Night Shift for the 2026 season, with our packhouse expected to kick off in February.
Our Night Shift hours are 4:30pm to 2:30am, operating Sunday to Friday (6 days per week).
Our packhouse team plays a vital role in caring for our precious little apples and help Rockit deliver the highest quality product to the world!
In this role, you’ll be working across general packhouse activities, which may include:
- Grading
- Leaf plucking
- Placing fruit ready for packing
- Placing fruit into tubes
- Lidding tubes
- Filling cartons
- Handling packaging — empty or packed
- Frequent lifting of apple cartons (as required by some roles)
What Rocks You
We are looking for people who:
- Are great team players who enjoy working with people from all corners of the world
- Don’t mind standing and working on your feet during our 10-hour shifts (with breaks, of course!)
- Have reliable transport to get to and from our Hastings Te Ipu site safely
- Are fantastic at being consistent and reliable
- Will take pride in protecting our little apples through great hygiene practices and careful handling
- Are keen to learn — full training is provided
