2026 Seasonal Packhouse - Day shift
We invite you to apply for our Day Shift for the 2026 season, with our packhouse expected to kick off in February.
Our Day Shift hours are 6:00am to 4:00pm, operating Monday to Saturday (6 days per week).
Our packhouse team plays a vital role in caring for our precious little apples and help Rockit deliver the highest quality product to the world!
- In this role, you’ll be working across general packhouse activities, which may include:
- Grading
- Leaf plucking
- Placing fruit ready for packing
- Placing fruit into tubes
- Lidding tubes
- Filling cartons
- Handling packaging — empty or packed
- Frequent lifting of apple cartons (as required by some roles)
What Rocks You
We are looking for people who:
- Are great team players who enjoy working with people from all corners of the world
- Don’t mind standing and working on your feet during our 10-hour shifts (with breaks, of course!)
- Have reliable transport to get to and from our Hastings Te Ipu site safely
- Are fantastic at being consistent and reliable
- Will take pride in protecting our little apples through great hygiene practices and careful handling
- Are keen to learn — full training is provided
