2026 Seasonal Forklift Operators
What our Forklift Operators do:
Our Rockit Packing team is at the heart of delivering our beautiful little apples to our global consumers. From receiving bins of fruit and packaging, moving stock around our site, loading and unloading containers, to placing product into storage, our forklift operators literally keep our packhouse moving and running smoothly.
We are looking for experienced, confident and conscientious Forklift Operators who can:
- Load and unload pallets into and out of racking systems, this is pretty skilled stuff!
- Load and unload bins that are filled to the brim with about 5,000 miniature apples.
- Stack empty bins safely up to 9 high, you need to be super accurate for this one!
- Operate scanning equipment to accurately track inventory. All the whistles and bells!
- Keen to help out the team to support our daily warehouse and coolstore operations
We have all sorts of shifts available to suit you:
- AM Shift: 6.00am - 4.00pm, Tuesday - Sunday (January – May)
- PM Shift: 10.00am - 8.00pm, Tuesday - Saturday, and 6.00am - 6.00pm Mondays (January – May)
- Night Shift: 8.00pm - 6.00am, Tuesday - Saturday, and 4.00pm - 2.00am Sundays (January – May)
- Day Shift: 6.30am - 5.00pm, Monday - Saturday (Jan – May)
Training: All operators will complete training during day shift hours in January.
What Rocks You
- Current forklift license (OSH certificate) is a must
- A person who loves all things about Forklifts and who;
- Is at the top of their game to load containers or pallets into and out of racking systems
- Is confident, calm, cool and collective when it comes to stacking bins or similar above 4 high
- Loves coming to work and being part of our awesome team!
- Puts safety first and want themselves and their workmates to work well and return home safely every day.
