We're looking for an experienced Supply and Demand Planning Manager to own and lead our integrated demand and supply planning process.

Reporting to the Global Sales Manager and based in Auckland, you'll sit at the centre of Sales, Marketing, Finance, Winemaking and Supply Chain, providing a clear view of future demand, supply requirements and inventory. You'll lead our monthly S&OP process, challenge assumptions and turn complex information into decisions the business can act on.

What you'll be doing

• Own and lead S&OP, bringing demand, supply, inventory and financial plans together.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting across our global markets, channels and wine portfolio, using customer insights, commercial intelligence and data to improve forecast quality.
• Connect demand with future wine supply, including our annual vintage commitment process and scenario planning around demand, vintage availability and inventory.
• Turn analysis into action, identifying risks, opportunities and trade-offs and providing clear recommendations.
• Optimise inventory, including stock policies, availability, slow-moving stock and SKU rationalisation.
• Partner across the business, helping Sales, Marketing, Finance, Winemaking, Supply Chain and Customer Service make better, faster decisions.
• Support growth opportunities, providing planning and commercial insight for new customers, markets and products.

You will be joining a passionate team who have many years of experience within the business and industry. 

What we're looking for

You'll bring significant experience in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP/IBP or commercially focused planning, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing or another complex supply environment.

Just as importantly, we're looking for someone who can see the story behind the numbers and confidently work across functions.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel/data skills.
• Experience with ERP, forecasting, planning and business-intelligence tools.
• Ability to build forecasting models and work confidently with large datasets.
• Experience improving and automating planning processes and reporting.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Confidence to challenge assumptions, influence stakeholders and turn analysis into action.

Experience in an international, multi-market wine, beverage or primary-industry environment would be a real advantage.
