About the role
You’ll be our Head of Sales and Marketing, responsible for implementation and ongoing management of our sales and marketing strategies. You’ll be managing a small team as well as working closely with our marketing agency. This role will be based in our Wellington office, though regular travel to Auckland to meet with your team members will be required.
You’ll have operational responsibility for marketing, sales and customer success, as well as overall responsibility for revenue growth. Your sales oversight will include direct and indirect, via resellers, and as such you’ll define our channel strategy for New Zealand: identifying strategic resellers, and building long-lasting relationships with senior executives at their organizations.
You’ll report to the CEO and work together with them closely as well as other staff such as our CTO, COO and Private Cloud Manager during presales processes, and to ensure ongoing customer success with the Cloud.
You should have sales and marketing experience in the technology industry ideally with a focus on the public sector, and be familiar with all the benefits that using the Cloud can bring to businesses. You can work with a wide range of people, developing and nurturing excellent relationships with stakeholders in both the private and public sectors.
You should have experience with developing, implementing and ongoing execution of sales and marketing strategies.
You’ll be leading a team on this journey, so you should have the skills and attributes to effectively lead and nurture your team.
