Mō te tūraka mahi | About the role 

The College of Community Development and Personal Wellbeing has an exciting opportunity for a Counselling - Supervisor.  This role will support ākonga (learners) who are studying towards a Bachelor of Social Services, Counselling speciality, by providing professional 1:1 supervision.  Your supervision will enable ākonga to develop their professional identity, reflect on the application of theory and to develop effective and ethical work practices,

Ko wai koe | About you

You will have a sound understanding and extensive experience of working within a Person Centred Counselling model, in theory and in practice, as well as an understanding of national and international contemporary issues in the counselling field. You will be an active member of NZAC or approved equivalent professional body. Previous supervision experience is essential and a willingness to complete the administrative duties that a supervision role entails.
